The Texas Craft Brewers Festival is proud to bring you
a diverse selection of genuine Texas acoustic music this year. So
kick back in the festival beer garden and enjoy some of Austin's
up-and-coming performers.
8:30-9:30 pm
Jane
Bond
Austin based singer Jane Bond has attracted a
strong local following for her charismatic stage presence and sultry
voice. Showing a range of influences from Bessie Smith to Patsy
Cline, Bond�s profile has risen steadily since her debut record,
Vol. 1, was released on Steppin� Stone Records in the summer of
2001. Bond is also a regular presence on the local roots-rock club
scene.

Barrelhouse
Dogs
Based in Austin, Texas, Barrelhouse Dogs
deliver a good ol' fashioned raucous mix of acoustic folk and
country blues. Hearkening back to the old "road house" tradition,
Barrelhouse Dogs draw from roots, bluegrass, old-timey, and folk
music, as well as original songs, and blend them together in true
Americana style.

Mark Jungers & the Whistling
Mules
In the Lone Star State and nationally, a thing
called Texas Music has been taking the music world by storm. But,
what is Texas Music- Country, Bluegrass, Roots Rock, Folk? Well,
Mark Jungers and his band play what is the heart of Texas Music:
gutsy, unpretentious music filled with spirit and spontaneity.

The Fence
Sitters
A traveling living room with a
well-stocked beer fridge; acoustic American roots music for aging
punk rockers. Tearing down walls between bluegrass and Rock-type
music with a heavy lean toward country.
2:30-3:30 pm
The
Thirsty Boys
The Thirsty Boys are an eclectic
group of guys with an intermingling cast of musicians. This show
will feature Shane Orr on mandolin, Andy Garsea on bass, Mark
Shrubin on guitar and Matt Gordon on fiddle. Come on down and
partake in the swillage of great beer and rollicking fiddle tunes
with The Thirsty Boys.

Double~R~Nothin
Double~R~Nothin'
brings you a big hot heapin' helpin' of Texas Twang. Their unique
style features selected renditions of songs they wrote, or wish they
had. These dynamic performers have an extensive repertoire, and
offer something for listeners of all ages. Come out early and be
part of their family.
